A Map of Love
Irish author Jackie Hayden stages his love of Welsh and Irish music and literature at an event that mingles his passion for the work of Welsh writer Dylan Thomas with his long association with the musical tradition of both cultures. Hayden’s new book A map of Love: around Wales with Dylan Thomas is published as a collaboration between Welsh publisher Iconau and record label Fflach, its release in electronic format is a pilot project for the Coracle eBook platform. To celebrate the marriage of traditional and contemporary creative production contributions will be made to this evening of free entertainment by Jim Parc Nest, the Archdruid of Wales (whose recording on CD is free with the book) winner of the Dylan Thomas International Prize, Lucy Caldwell and Welsh and Irish fiddlers, Caradog Rhys Williams and Tanya Murphy.
Performances by these writers will also take place at the Dinefwr Literature Festival in Wales between 29 June and 1 July 2012

A Map of Love
Bydd yr awdur Gwyddelig Jackie Hayden yn cyflwyno ei gariad at gerddoriaeth a llenyddiaeth Cymru ac Iwerddon mewn digwyddiad sy’n cyfuno ei hoffter ysol o waith y llenor o Gymru Dylan Thomas a’i gysylltiad hir gyda thraddodiad cerddorol y ddau ddiwylliant. Cyhoeddir llyfr newydd Hayden A map of Love: around Wales with Dylan Thomas yn gywaith rhwng y cyhoeddwyr, Iconau, o Gymru a label recordiau Fflach, ac mae ei gyhoeddi mewn fformat electronaidd yn brosiect peilot ar gyfer llwyfan eLyfrau Coracle. Er mwyn dathlu’r briodas hon o gynhyrchu creadigol traddodiadol a chyfoes, gwneir cyfraniadau i’r noson hon o adloniant rhad ac am ddim gan Jim Parc Nest, Archdderwydd Cymru (y mae ei recordiad ar CD yn rhad ac am ddim gyda’r llyfr), enillydd Gwobr Ryngwladol Dylan Thomas, Lucy Caldwell a’r ffidlwyr o Gymru a’r Iwerddon, Caradog Rhys Williams a Tanya Murphy.
